Paper Flower Sculptures
I’ve always loved making things with my hands. I first trained as a stained glass artist, and over time my creative crafting path has led me to working with paper, wire, and glue to bring flowers to life. It’s intricate, meditative work — every small detail carefully crafted. I hand-paint the papers, often building up several layers of colour to create depth, texture, and aliveness.
My work is inspired directly by nature — her shapes, her colours, her astonishing delicacy. Each flower is a one-of-a-kind piece, crafted with care and a deep appreciation for botanical beauty. While nature is the ultimate designer and I have been slavishly copied nature’s art, I’m increasingly drawn to explore more imaginative blooms — a growing body of work inspired by the fantastical, the anomalous and the yet-to-be-discovered in nature.
I can create bespoke pieces and welcome commissions. If you have a request or an idea you’d like to explore, please feel free to get in touch.
